CTC-MF Campus Open House & Science Lab Dedication Ceremony
Tuesday, April 7, 2026 (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (CDT)
Description

You are invited to attend an Open House and Dedication on April 7, celebrating the launch of Central Texas College’s Healthcare Education Pathways Hub in Marble Falls. This milestone marks the first step in a broader Highland Lakes initiative to expand access to healthcare training close to home—building a strong, sustainable pipeline of skilled professionals to meet the region’s growing medical needs. This new training program and dedicated facility will play a vital role in supporting local hospitals and medical offices by providing localized, specialized education that prepares students for in-demand healthcare careers. By training talent within the community, this initiative helps ensure a steady flow of qualified, workforce-ready professionals into the healthcare pipeline.
During the event, Chancellor Michelle Carter will share plans to introduce LVN classes this fall, with additional specialized programs and career-focused training to follow, all designed to address critical workforce shortages. Guests will also have the opportunity to tour the new science lab, designed to enhance hands-on learning for students pursuing careers in nursing, surgical technology, and radiologic technology. The program will include regional leaders like Paul Fletcher with Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area, Gail Davalos with Workforce Network and Christian Fletcher with MF Economic Development Corporation who will speak on the importance of investing in education and workforce development to support healthcare providers and improve access to care across the Highland Lakes.
Come be part of this exciting moment and help us kick off a healthier future for the Highland Lakes!
